Zak’s Diner - Ottawa, Ontario

The food is excellent, the milkshakes are spectacular, the staff are friendly, quick, and efficient. This place is an outstanding diner. If you are in Ottawa, make sure to spot in. I am still thinking about how good their maple milkshake is.

This diner has a LOT of offerings and many flavours of milkshakes... As many as the heart can dream! The poutine was amazing - especially made with curly fries!! So delish. I had the Buffalo Chicken Sandwich and it was good but the one side was not as spicy as I ... would have liked (the sauce seemed to be on one side only). The kids ordered three shakes and loved each flavour - they also loved the "extra" that they were able to drink on the side. It was a cool experience and yummy food, though a bit pricey for a diner. Zaks Dinner is very cool place. Endless coffee and big portions. We shared a breakfast because it was too big for me. The prices are $$$ but worth it for the sides. Major hike to go to washrooms, and our cutlery and glasses were not clean.

Had a great experience at this place and definitely it won’t be the last. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is like the 80’s the milkshake was delicious and fresh the wings were delicious as well. The burger was ok but the onion rings were crunchy and ... tasty.
