Three legit reasons to avoid this establishment like the plague: 1. Nobody was helping me, I waited in front of the register to be assisted and there was 5, yes you heard me right, 5 people ignoring me. One person gave me eye contact multiple times while moping the floor and ... didn't once stop to think I needed help. 2. Ice cream blizzard was already melted when I received it. I get that its a soft serve ice cream but the moment I received it it had already lost a lot of its structural integrity. 3. I found the restaurant to not meet certain health and safety guidelines, specifically with washing their hands. This is absolutely disgusting and not to mention unsanitary. Something to note was that their floors were very sticky, I don't know if it was from poor mopping with not enough soap used but I felt gross walking on slimy tiles. Customers beware , if I was a customer I would take my hard earned money and go to the Dairy Queen at Bells Corners as they do a much better job with their service, quality of products and overall cleanliness / hygiene. After having just left the nearby McD's, the level of cleanliness of this property was outstandingly impressive. The staff were very friendly as well, keeping my food cold/hot, and making fresh chicken at 11pm. The cake artist was smooth as heck with the icing text on other customer's cakes. Thank you to Jay and Lisa for taking care of my cake orders for my birthday this year. I ordered one oreo and one cookie dough cake and they went above and beyond for it. I've attached a few photos to show Lisa's talent. If you want to order a ... DQ cake, I recommend ordering from this location because of Lisa. I have never met someone as passionate about her cakes as her, and she really enjoys her job. Many people do not realize these DQ cakes are actually made on site, and your local staff serving you your Blizzards are making them in between orders. They are also making the dilly bars, DQ sandwiches, and buster bars you have come to know and love as well. Jay has recently taken over this DQ last year and he's doing such a good job with his staff. He loves all his guests and enjoys helping them make memories with their friends and family. He is honoured to be part of anybody's celebration and is a true joy to interact with personally. You will find that his staff is also the same. They enjoy serving everyone who comes in, and are delighted to see families come in with their children and take photos of their memories at DQ. They also enjoy being a safe place for people to come hang out with with their friends while enjoying dessert or even a meal together. If you're in the area and get a craving for dessert, please consider DQ Britannia. They are a grill and chill as well, so lunch and dinner food are available!
