Good portion and the price are reasonable. However the fries in the poutine is a bit soggy and not as crispy. Cash only.

Poutine super good, the oil is very very clean you can taste it in the fries. Awesome location. Bring cash, if not, gas station in the same parking lot does free cash back!

Got lunch here while the car was being serviced - hot dog combo and a small poutine. The hot dog and fries were good, but the poutine was EXCELLENT. Definitely get the poutine if you come here! It's a cash-only business, no card reader, so come prepared.

Went for lunch today. Had a jumbo dog with poutine and coke. Food was great and guy was nice. Poutine was especially good and was not short on the cheese curds. Only a couple bucks more than McDonald's but much more filling and way more satisfying. Also I got my order ... probably in the same amount of time, he was quick. I love Carleton Fries in the Canadian Tire parking lot. The fries are soooo crispy. The man who runs it is also very kind. We got a small fry with vinegar, small fry with ketchup, and a small poutine. All came to just over $15 and it was delicious. I personally preferred the ... vinegar and ketchup fries over the poutine. Just love that classic chip truck taste, nostalgia at its finest. The poutine had real cheese curds and the gravy was a lighter colour. If Carleton’s Fries is open - definitely worth a stop 🤤 Cash only.
