I arrived at 5pm, food was served quickly and with extremely friendly service. I ordered the number 11 with goat, and sat down to one of the best meals I've had in ottawa. Super tender meat with a great balance of flavors and spice, on a bed of perfectly cooked ... rice which was also surprisingly full of flavour. This is truly a hidden gem, and I would recommend anyone who loves food to eat here atleast once...though I'm certain you'll return if you do. Read more
The owner is very nice and likeable. As I'm growing up he always talks about how I'm getting taller then him :) The sambusa tastes very good or you could even say amazing! I'll be going to Sambuza village for many years to come! :D
The place is run by a good brother and his family. He treats his guests well. We were a couple and we had an excellent time. Food is amazing. Private places to sit and pray also. Make sure to try the chicken breast and rice.
I have been going here for several years and I enjoy the food immensly. The owner is very friendly and outgoing. It can be busy at times, but that just shows the popularity of this somewhat hidden treasure that people seem to know about.
