This is the best charcoal chicken I’ve tried in Ottawa ! The spicy fries are the best I’ve had , generous with the spices . I got medium and it was perfect .

If you are a chicken lover, hungry and in Ottawa downtown, then you must go to Pili Pili Charcoal. Extremely delicious and affordable. We couldn't stop eating grilled chicken, spicy fries and plantains. The way they serve the food is easy to pack and bring home if you can't finish ... it. Crispy skin, spiced interior and nicely charcoaled. The sides were mediocre but the chicken was so good that I have to give 5 stars. Friendly and fast service. Will visit again and get a whole chicken

The best grilled chicken I have ever tried in Canada. I was having a dilemma whether to buy the combo with three sides or order them separately. The staff was super nice and answered all my questions. I would recommend you guys to buy the chicken separately and choose sides depending on ... your preference, whether small or large. We got a whole chicken for $25 plus sides (a large rice for $8.50 and a small plantain for $4.75), total $38.25 before taxes. I decided to order separate because judging by the container for the combo (three sides) and previous customer photos, I do not think it would fill too much. Chicken: 4.5/5 Rice: 4/5 Plantain 3/5 It was not sweet for my liking, it needed more ripe. Overall, I will definitely recommend you guys to try this. I will come back next time we are in Ottawa.
