La pizza & pasta - Oshawa, Ontario

I purchased a lasagna with meat sauce and a lemon cello cake. The lasagna cost $35 and the lemon cello cake 22.60 with tax the lasagna wasn’t worth 35 dollars! The lady at the desk gave me directions to put my oven at 400 and tent the lasagna and to ... let it rest for 15 minutes, which I did! The lasagna was watery and no more than 1 inch thick it was very bland tasting very little cheese very unnoticeable it was edible ! The lemon cello cake was very small for the value. It tasted OK 22.60 with tax not worth it! The lemon cake at superstore is $20. You get more and tastes better than this cake.! Very very disappointed I will not be back! Read more

Tried La Pizza and pasta last night for the first time and was pleasantly surprised. I called to order pickup and they told me 40 minutes, I knew right there that the place must have been busy (which is a good thing). I got the margarita pizza and the braised ... beef, both were delicious and would definitely recommend. While waiting they offered my 2 year old a bread stick and he was quite pleased by that. Great service and attention to detail. Made us feel welcome. Had the pizza. It was incredible. Old school traditional Italian pizza. Also had the lasagna. Was pretty good. My guests enjoyed it very much. I would def recommend it.

I've been a faithful customer for La Pizza for 7 or 8 years now. Pizza was always good and made quickly. Recommended it to co-workers and friends who came back raving how good it was and they were going to be repeat customers. All was good until ... recently. Order a Large with three toppings and took it home. On my third slice in, I bit into something rock hard. It was a small black stone. Fortunately, the stone broke and my front tooth didn't. Not the first time that this has happened to me. I walked away from Pete's Big Bite in Whitby years ago after a similar occurrence and have never gone back. La Pizza, I'm not coming back again.
