Terrasse Nelligan - Old Montréal, Quebec

I checked into the hotel about 1/2 an hour after getting off the train. Although I did not have a reservation, I did mention I was staying with the hotel for 4 nights and as there was space they gladly accommodated me. Great outdoor atmosphere with a nice view and ... breeze off of the Saint Lawrence River. Henry, my waiter ,was friendly, spot on with his recommendations, checked back several times to ask if everything was to my satisfaction and if I required anything else. All the staff were attentive to check for and clear or bring further orders as required. The house guacamole, salade nicoise, 2 Nelligan Margaritas plus 18% tip $109.89. In my opinion, the appetizer of guacamole is sufficient to share between two and the salade nicoise was a good portion for one. Outstanding presentation and taste. I love the outdoor setting and music was quiet enough that one can converse easily. A very relaxed and professional vibe. Thanks to Henry and the staff. Cute terrasse in the old port, the cocktails tasted good and overall the food tasted good as well, however, very small portions, ended up eating again before the night was over. I had such a lovely and romantic dinner on the rooftop! The space is thoughtfully designed with elegant finishes and makes for such a nice atmosphere. They even had a live DJ with very atmospheric beats to further increase the ambiance. Our server was wonderful, kind, and attentive. The food ... was great on the eyes, but the drinks were remarkable! The purple haze drink was one of the best I’ve had in terms of depth of flavor and complexity. Best lobster rolls and mimosas! Had a really great time on the patio! Came for a drink but stayed for a couple hours. Beautiful space! Highly recommend.

The rooftop design is fantastic. The ambiance is great and the music is very enjoyable. The drinks are excellent, and the staff are attentive and welcoming. Highly recommended and we will definitely keep coming back!
