Never tried the resturant, but they have a cute icecream so I ordered a one regular cone icecream. I asked to try the mango,the waitress gave me one then she switched with a guy waiter. I didn't like their mango cause it was soure,so I asked to try the pistashio ... and he said,NO,you already tried one !!! The guys was so mean.i said ok,I'll take pistashio. I wanted to pay by card he said it's 5$ minimum for card,so I said OK just charge me 5$ .it was my bad that I didn't ask in the beginning. I aksed him since I payed 5$ can I get another ball of Icecream( 2 ball is for 4.5$, I was still paying more) he said "oh you want this you want that ,first you tried mango then you want pistashio blah blah" HE WAS SO RUDE I just left !!! If you cannot handle customer,why bother working at a restaurant??? Ps, the pistashio tast like cough syrup,i throw it out after I cannot reply to your comment so : I DID pay. A fun place to have lunch on the “terrasse”. Feels like outside ! Sun without the cold!!! Some of the servers don’t speak great English but it has never been a problem for me. Smoked Salmon salad and a few glasses of wine and life is good!
They charge 5,00 extra if you want to share a plate. More info: we tried to order two plates for three person, we are in the day 14 of a trip in Canada and this was the first place that it happens.
I could not believe how terrible the service was at this place. Since we did not speak French we asked for menu in english but they did not have one. So we asked the server to help us to choose a meal. She was not pleased and she just stared ... back at us instead of trying to translate. I am sorry for not knowing French but this is one of the high tourist areas in Montreal surrounded by many hotels. Food was good, but we would not advise anyone to spend their money at this place. We were treated like second class citizens since I watched how the servers interact with the other customers. Our glasses were never refilled even though they passed us many times.
