This authentic Lebanese restaurant is a must for anyone who loves Mediterranean food. The portions are generous. The food is delicious and fresh. The restaurant is busy and vibrant with energy. Last week our team went for lunch at Maro's Bistro and we were not disappointed. The food was delicious, the portions were large and our server guided us well about sharing portions although not many of us chose that option. The place is small but the atmosphere is inviting. I ... ate the Miami affair and it was very delicious although a little on the spicy side. I also had Turkish coffee but didn't feel it lived up to its reputation. My colleague vouched that it was not authentic Turkish coffee. We had a pleasant and relaxed experience. Only two things could be improved. 1. We were more than a group of 6 but were paying individually. It was not clear if the 22% gratuity had been included in the bill as was mentioned for larger groups on the website. This caused confusion as the server provided no clarity. So some of us, liked me, tipped and others didn't. 2. We were celebrating our colleague's birthday. Usually upon hearing this, restaurants do something as a token gesture to celebrate the birthday. They either bring a small cake or any dessert and candle to wish the person. Came with family and friends, the service was spot on, we were treated extremely respectfully, staff went above and beyond. The food was impeccable, great portion sizes to share. We got the Maro’s special and The Babel. Great size for three people. Highly recommend both. Dessert was great, handmade daily, extremely ... well done. Went here for lunch and everything was amazing! Shared two dishes amongst three adults and one child: Lebanese Cevapi and Here Comes the Bride. Both were so delicious.
