The Olive Press Italian Restaurant - Oakville, Ontario

I visited the Olive Press this past Sunday with my boyfriend to celebrate my birthday, and we had an excellent time. We were a bit worried since we couldn't make a reservation, but the hostess seated us right away, and we were able to choose a specific table we ... preferred. Our server, Lexi, was absolutely amazing and so attentive and friendly! From the get-go, we felt at ease and at home, and she regularly came to check on us to make sure we had everything we needed. The food was so delicious - I ordered the chicken pesto papardelle and my boyfriend ordered the chicken parmesan. Everything was made fresh and the portions were huge! I recently visited Olive Press Oakville, and it was a fantastic experience overall. The restaurant has a spacious and inviting atmosphere, and the food was tasty. However, one thing they could improve is the presentation of the dishes. Despite this, don't miss out on trying their delicious tiramisu! Also, there's ... plenty of parking available in the back. Food here was average. But our server made us feel very comfortable and welcoming. We left happy from here, but the food was just not our taste or perhaps the Italian food that we have tried at other restaurants is not comparable with this, as this was lacking seasoning.

Visited this restaurant with my family and had a wonderful experience. The restaurant is spacious and the staff are professional and friendly. We were warmly greeted at the entrance and seated promptly at a table of our choice. They provided coloring papers and crayons for the kids, which helped them ... stay entertained while we relaxed with a glass of wine. The tables were covered with paper, creating an extended drawing area for the kids. The children's drinks were served in covered cups, featuring cute designs that the kids loved. We ordered the pesto pasta recommended by our waitress, with prawns instead of chicken. The portion size was generous, and the dish was delicious. My husband enjoyed the meatball spaghetti pasta, which was also flavorful and came in a generous portion. The kids both loved their spaghetti and meat sauce and cleaned their plates, which is rare for them. We paired our meal with a Cabernet Sauvignon priced at $35, which complemented the pasta dishes perfectly. This restaurant is very family-friendly, making it a great choice for family events or get-togethers. The Italian experience! Great food, good service ample seating and all at a not so busy location. Been here a few times and every time the food hits the spot. We've tried their pasta, pizza, mocktails, salads and they are all on point. About the same price range as most Italian ... joints around GTA, you want to come here for the dine-in experience.
