Smaller area of seating, clean, and modern. Nice mural of Florence, Italy! Identifies the Italian heritage. Rosa - the owner, welcomes you with a huge smile. She is very inviting, passionate, and professional. I can see she cares and values her customers. I enjoyed a veal sandwich “medium” with a Sanpellegrino Sparkling ... drink. The veal was fresh, tender and accompanied with a tasty sauce. The bun was fresh and not overwhelmed with sauce as some competitors. Order was ready in a few minutes. $12 for the meal. In comparison to large franchises, the pricing is reasonable. I would definitely recommend this hidden gem and will make the drive to visit again. Read more

Excellent food, good taste, the tomato salsa was excellent as if you are eating real Italian food. Everything-was fresh and high quality. Also they keep the place very clean. Excellent job. The Meatballs were soooooo good.

One of the best places to grab lunch or dinner in Oakville. Several delicious menu options (and they offer catering too!). We ordered veal and chicken platters for a special event we hosted last year, and to this day we still receive several compliments from our guests as to how ... amazing the food was. I first started going to On A Bun at their Mavis location years ago and was delighted when I saw they were opening up one in Oakville. The service is always friendly and fantastic and the food has never let me down. Veal, chicken, steak, meatball sausage or eggplant, they're ... all incredible. And get a load of that cross-section. They know how to put a sandwich together. A sandwich ends up being ~$12 if you get a few toppings but it's also massive. Worth it. Easily. Read more

On a Bun has some fantastic food. The menu is true to the style of food. I enjoyed mozzarella sticks, EGG AND PARMESAN sandwich (on a beautiful bun), and some delicious french fries. My companion was raveing about the magnificent meatball on a bun sandwich, as well as the fries ... and mozzarella sticks (that he stole from my plate). 5*s doesn't do justice for this place. The staff was great, friendly, professional, gave me a free drink, the restaurant was clean, had a lovely small sitting area with nice artwork, modern interior, oh and did I mention the food was great.
