If you’re looking for old school traditional fish and chips, this is a good place for them. It’s a local favourite spot. Stepping into this place took me back to the 70’s with its decor. Kitchen is old but clean and visible from the take out area. We did take out ... around 4:30 so the place was empty. Service is quick. Food is good. Not overly greasy. The fish was perfectly done with a light batter (not gluten free). It’s important to note that they do try to ensure a safe dining environment for those with shellfish allergies. Would recommend Very personable staff, friendly and courteous. I can’t wait to come back and try the other options. Fish cakes were very good, trust me I’ve eaten a lot of these in lots of places.

This was delicious. I'm definately coming back. A picture sometime does say more then a thousand words. It's a cozy place that serves great food and takes after the Maritimes; St. Anthony's NFL comes to mind. The haddock was just perfect and took me back to ... fish and chips I had at the Sydney AU beaches. I also love the fact that they serve sweet potato chips. Pretty good fish and chips restaurant! I ordered the Cod with a drink and a small side of coleslaw and it came to be about 20$ before tip. The fish was well battered, crispy on the outside but still flaky and soft on the inside. The fries were good, but ... nothing crazy amazing worth mentioning. They use a creamy coleslaw and with the pickled cucumber on the side is just enough to cut through the deep fries goodness. Read more
