Ranee’s Roti - Oakville, Ontario

My first order was Goat roti. I asked for Hot and I was humbled, yet the flavour was incredible. This time I ordered Chicken roti Medium. Again it was incredibly delicious. This is my new favourite Caribbean restaurant.

Roti's from this spot are always on point. I usually go with the chicken at medium heat and have never been disappointed. Owner is super nice and seems to genuinely care about the food he is serving. My wife came by yesterday to buy Doubles, and I must say, as a Trinidadian, I was strongly disappointed. The roti part was ok, but the curry and chick peas part definitely needs work. It shouldn't be so DRY it was coming apart literally. Words of advice: YOU NEED TRY ... TO BALANCE IT OUT. Try to keep it 20% dry and 80% wet. Remember and capture taste of the Islands. Read more

I purchased doubles and curry chicken roti both medium. Their hot is HOT so I had to bring it to medium. Go for the HOT if you like SPICYYY. lol overall, the food was flavourful and filling. He asked to add more gravy on top, which was great!

I ordered a goat roti and double. The total came to $15.80. Reasonable prices, fast service, and the food was quite tasty. large chunks of potatoes that had been thoroughly cooked served to enhance the flavor of the meat instead of obscuring it.
