Place was seat yourself on the Saturday morning. Just as we sat down a few people got up to pay but the waitress acknowledged me that she would be over as soon as they had left which she did. She was friendly and efficient. The food was great: i had ... the breakfast skillet with a side of baked beans, as did my son. It was sizzling for a good 5 minutes after it arrived at the table. Worst restaurant I have ever been to in terms of service. Rude racist server ignored us since we entered. We waited a few minutes and she passed by us not saying we had to seat ourselves. Then she made us wait for 45 min and served all the white clients ... first. She obviously didn’t like Asians! My 18 month old baby had to sit there and watch people eating around him and scream until she would serve us. Very rude, very unfriendly and unpleasant. The restaurant environment is also very old. Tried to give this place a second try after poor 1st meal. 1st meal was eggs florentine and the spinach was watery and definitely a frozen product (the taste of grocery store frozen chopped spinach infused the entire dish). Today decided to give them a second chance and order a ... different meal. Ordered the special egg wrap. When it came to the table was very tiny and not as described. The lovely waitress did explain it's not worded as it should be and she keeps telling the person in charge to change it but they haven't. The waitress is what really gets this place any stars. Sadly, this was the worst breakfast meal ever in a restaurant. Bacon was hard, dry and cold, clearly they cooked it a while ago and tried to warm it up. Eggs were well cooked but arrived cold. Love this place. Eat there 3 or 5 times a week, breakfast and lunches. For breakfast, love eggs, with a side of smoked meat and rye bread. The home fries are great too, and the kids ask for them as a side for dinner sometimes. My daughter loves the caesar ... salad, and we get that for takeout frequently too. Burgers are great. Staff is friendly, from Vicky the owner, to the manager, to all wait staff. Sat down and had breakfast with the owner's husband, one morning. Nice man. Craig the chef takes great pride in the quality of food. It is consistently great and he and the wait staff all remember our preferences. Super place in comparison to the other places around Oakville. More space between tables and more of a personal touch. People I brought here for casual business meetings all liked it too.
