Pipes and Taps Pub - Oakville, Ontario

Good birthday celebration dinner. I got the steak and mushroom stew and others got the fish and chips and chicken curry. Everyone enjoyed the food. Also the sticky toffee pudding. Yum

This was my first time at Pipes and Taps. I'd heard the food was good and I wasn't disappointed. The menu is quite varied. I had the beef dip with onion rings. The beef was tender, the bun was fresh. The jus was a little salty but that didn't bother ... me. The onion rings were delish. I had the Manhattan cheesecake for dessert which was amazing. Our server was rather soft spoken which didn't quite fit the mood of the place. She didn't do anything wrong, she just wasn't terribly impressive. Unfortunately, the evening we went their AC wasn't working so it was somewhat uncomfortable. They has fans running which helped. Overall a positive experience. Will definitely go back. Read more

My wife and I visit the pub frequently. Service is outstanding, and everyone is always so friendly! They make us feel welcomed every time we go. Nice beer selection, always as cold as it should be. I don’t know what they did, but this menu has been expanded and tweeked to become our new go to pub in Oakville. My husband will tell you that they have the most extensive and impressive beers on tap. He says they should get 6 stars for that ... alone. Food is amazing. Best chicken pot pie in Oakville by far. Best Cesar salad also. We were on the hunt for the best garlic bread with cheese in Oakville which doesn’t break the bank…. Pipes and taps also wins this category. Service amazing. Wine- which is my fave is reasonable in price!! $35 for a bottle of red. Where is oakville can you find this?!!! We have also had hockey banquets and events here. Amazing venue for your events. It’s a bar right across the street from where I live and I go there regularly. I always feel welcomed and I love the whole feel of the place. Staff is very friendly and know things on the menu. Beers are cold, food is hot and tasty. Service is quick ... and efficient. Rob knows his customers and is always welcoming and making sure you have a great time. I will keep coming here.
