Oakville’s Temple Bar - Oakville, Ontario

Completely under staffed for a Wednesday night. We had to wipe our own table down and waited an hour for our food. Owner takes no responsibility for the poor service it seems. We are a glutten for punishment as we have given this place multiple chances over the years hoping it would improve. ... It hasn't! This place has so much potential to be good and it has never met our expectations in the past few years and few times that we have been. No chicken pot pie or steak and guiness pie....especially for a British pub. They gave us a discount which is nice, but doesn't hide the lack of staff. We are now done with the Temple Bar unfortunately as we had hoped it would turn around. Read more

Was a fun night out. Was busy for st Patrick's day. Only reason for no 5 star was we waited at the front for over 15 minutes waiting to be seated for our reservation. Waitress walked by but didn't acknowledge us. Really ... enjoyed the live music. Read more

Spend the evening with friends last night celebrating St Patrick's Day and omg what a time. The place was jumping! Hats off to the servers too they were really on it and took care of my party. Oakville's Temple Bar is fabulous. I regularly attend Tuesday Trivia nights, and sometimes stop by other times. Food is excellent! Fantastic chicken wings, burgers, nachos and the specials are always great! You can't go wrong. And the staff is top-notch...all of them!

Fun Trivia Tuesday and even better Karaoke Friday. Amazing staff. Always a warm welcome here. Feel like a local. Highly recommend fish and chips with an icy cold Temple larger! Had roast beef dinner special which was as good as my mother’s! I’ll be back after my travels ... overseas. Read more
