The Danish Pastry House - Oakville, Ontario

We had heard a lot about Danish pastry house on Trip Advisor being the top bakery in Oakville, and finally got a chance to try some of their delectable pastries 🍰. We tried several items including Viking tart, Coffee Cupcake, Belgian Chocoalate mousse, Almond and marzipan tart, and their ... senhls (their versions of buns.. pronounced as snails). The taste was pristine, and everything was prepared with love when tasted. I would have given 5 stars if the person who attended us would have been more active in listening to us, and could have provided recommendations when asked. Other than that, it's a good place to eat, sit and have coffee. It's certainly does not deserve the top spot on Trip Advisor for the best bakeries in Halton region. Good, but not the best. The pastries look great and service is fast and friendly but the pastries do NOT taste as they used to a few years ago. I think they are adding too many stores and now have to keep up with the demand so the quality/ingredients or maybe the hands on baking ... is slipping. We travel to Denmark every year and compare all the time. I would suggest that they employ some genuine Danish bakers. Read more

Absolutely love the pastries , cakes, rum balls and more from Danish Pastry House Really glad that we have one in Oakville. Their coffee is good as well, very flavorful and good strength.

I loved the vibe of this place and am surely going back again and again! Spread of breads 🥖, sweet & savoury pastries, desserts and coffee ☕. The staff was polite and welcoming.
