Miso Sushi & Tapas - Oakville, Ontario

I've been here only twice with two completely different experiences. I was referred by a friend because this was his favourite place in the area and after the first visit, I would agree that it was very good. I came back yesterday with the hopes of spreading the news to a ... friend and this time was not the same at all. We ordered take out in both instances and ordered roughly the same arrangement of sushi, sashimi and rolls (a mix platter) but the price was almost double and the food was not close to the same level as the first time. I never want to knock a family business so I'm keeping this at 4 stars. The owners are nice and the food, when I went the first time about 2-3 months ago, was very good. I hope for the best for them. Very Pricy...! For special signature maki rolls (like volcano) you are looking to pay for 9pcs ~$20. Tea- they charge extra per customer (per cup). As many other places offer tea as Complimentary (which means “for free”). We asked to seat outside (as they had a terrace ) we were refused for ... three times , with different excuses (like : do to the weather , we don’t allow)... it wasn’t reining nor it was windy. Other restaurants on lakeshore , which had a terrace had their customers seated outside. Also , poor hygiene during Pandemic. Please note, as being only one sushi location on lakeshore in Oakville downtown, you should provide a much better service. Read more

This is my fav sushi place in Oakville. Took a few business guests this time and they were blown away by the quality of food. Fiona did an amazing job of serving us her very best. The fire sushi is amazing! Older: one of the best Sushi places in town. Good choice ... and tasteful rolls. If your a sushi lover...this has to be on your go to list. Read more

Great place best Japanese food My wife and I had dinner Saturday night, good fresh food, the service was great very friendly. Had the chicken teriyaki just amazing. The sushi was amazing as well...Must try
