K&B Sushi - Oakville, Ontario

I once visited this place an hour before closing which I regretted later. The service staff were literally pushing us to eat quickly so they could make us leave. Imagine you are trying to enjoy your food and the staff keep following up every 5 minutes if we need anything ... else? Stewards standing next to the table staring at your dishes? They quickly run to clear the plates. It was annoying, their attitude is frustrating. You try saying something and then they behave like they don't understand English. I won't visit this place again. Food was alright in general. Lots of options for AYCE. The servers could've been a bit nicer but they were a bit pressured by the work so i can understand.

02 Jan 2024 - Came here for a quick dinner after a movie. Ordered the assorted sushi & deluxe sushi combo which comes with soup & salad. The salad dressing was watery. The sushi was dry. The fish pieces were just falling off the rice. It felt like it had ... been sitting on the counter for long n had dried up. Was really disappointed with the food quality n service as well. Feb 2023-Come here for the torched sushi not available at most AYCE places including other KB sushi restaurants. Good service, fresh sushi and great food overall. Went here for dinner. Food is good and service was fast. However, I do not like how the server put her tip on the card machine, saying it is mandatory. I am sure what she did is illegal and unethical. The servers are running and placing food on our table ... like it’s a fast food restaurant. I like the baked mussels the most! Read more

We ended up going to this place because Sukho Thai was closed. However, I am so glad we did because it exceeded our expectations. The fried rice w/ General Tao chicken slapped. The torched sushi was unbelievably tasty. I ate for days. The service was super speedy and the ambiance ... was very nice as well. Overall, we got in and out within an hour with our bellies full and our souls satisfied!! Read more
