I've been going to Cineplex Cinemas Winston Churchill & VIP for years, and every time I've walked past this pub, but on the eve of my birthday, I decided to treat myself to a meal here before going to the movies. It was my first time eating here, but won't ... be y last. The atmosphere was lively and energetic, the service was great, and the food was worth the wait, though it wasn't that long of a wait, and it was worth the price. Enjoyed a fantastic evening with friends. The service was excellent. Food could be better

this was my experience on Monday, March 18th at about 7:40pm. we were greeted and ordered sangria after sitting for about five minutes, and then we were not checked on for quite a while. we ordered food, and were not offered refills or more drinks when they were low. the food ... took upwards of 30 minutes which i found to be very long considering there were only four other tables. once the food finally arrived, my bacon burger was not up to par at all. There was mustard on both sides of the bun slopped on really thick. couldn’t really taste anything else, there were three slices of cheese none of which were melted- the burger was dry.. I looked around for my server for probably about 10 minutes before I was able to get somebody’s attention. when she came over to check on me, my date had already finished eating. I said, can I get the burger that my date had because it taste better? she said yeah sure, you good to keep those fries? I just don’t understand why she wouldn’t refire the whole dish because now my fries are cold. the replacement burger took 20 more minutes, and our drinks were still empty, even two hours into dining- no offer for another round or even clearing the old food i wanted to send back. when we were brought the bill, she had taken 20% off of my burger. it just didn’t feel like that was enough compensation for both the service and quality of food. out of every time i’ve been to 3 brewers, i have never experienced a time where i felt like an inconvenience to staff. hoping that this reaches the right person! I was surprised by how nice it was for a pub. My expectations from Pubs are always minimum but I was pleasantly surprised here. The server was really nice and attentive. I was waiting for a friend and they never showed up but the server was really nice and kept inquiring ... if I needed anything. I ordered the "rockstar" cocktail and it was very good. It was reasonably priced too. I also ordered the Calamari but it was almost $20 for a very small portion. I didn't think the portion and quality justified the price. The nachos were good, but the chips were too salty for what it was. I also ordered Flamekueches and I was very impressed with the quality. Except for the price of the Calamari, I think everything else was good! Decent for a pub! Read more

Had some spare time before my movie started, so stopped by for a quick bite! I really enjoyed the drink - ordered 'Georgia' 🍹however the mozzarella sticks were just okay. Tasted like frozen served with marinara sauce which too was okayish. Won't be ordering this item again. I liked the vibe of ... the place and service was good. Read more
