Lakeside Eatery - Oakville, Ontario

I had high expectations for this place, I even drove an hour to get there, but it's not the same. Don't get me wrong, It's still the closest you'll find to a real Nova Scotian donair in Ontario, just don't get too excited like I did.

Gus and Paul are amazing people! Great food my kids love this restaurant!!! Always accommodating and friendly, even when I call for pick up 10 mins before they close!!!! Thanks guys.

Great quality food, not rushed when cooked. If youre undecided the philly steak sub never disappoints.

Ordered their halifax donairs. Meat was mediocre (same meat as gyros). Sauce was not even close to traditional. Pita was soggy despite just ordering it. And onions and tomatoes were not diced. Save your money and go elsewhere if you want quality food.

These guys make a variety of awesome tasty food in Oakville from oven-made Pizzas, Wings, to Phili Cheese-Steak Sandwiches with nothing lacking! I've tried all their home-made foods, always delicious and always with very quick service.
