Chuck’s Roadhouse Bar And Grill - Oakville, Ontario

We usually choose Chuck's as we kinda always know what to expect... This time was a bit of a disappointment. The hostess was great, cheerful, and seated us right away. The food was okay, but the service was not great at all. Was not crazy busy, ... waited quite awhile to be greeted by the server. By the time the "hello" happened, we were asked to place our drink order with our meal. I never received the water I ordered with my wine. Not to mention that when the wine came out, it still had lipstick from the last use. When we received our food, we were never given utensils. They are a must-have for steak and lobster... Went to watch the soccer game. It wasn’t too busy when we got there. We sat in the bar area. The bartender was nice and got us drinks right away. We ordered an appetizer. It took about 40 minutes for the a spinach dip and it wasn’t worth the wait. ... The dip itself was almost watery and salty. It took about the same amount of time to get an order of tacos. We were pleasantly surprised with our visit to Chuck's Roadhouse for dinner! We loved all the cool decor around the restaurant and the motorcycle featured as you walk in! The food was delicious and reasonably priced. Our server, Shawn, was fantastic and very attentive and helpful! The service was fast ... and reliable even though it was quite busy since we were there on a Saturday night for dinner. They have a great kids menu and our kids enjoyed their food as well... They had the kids cheeseburger and the kids grilled cheese sandwich, both with fries. We ordered the Inferno Burger with Fries (delicious!) and the Cajun Chicken Sandwich with Onion Rings (yum!). We also got the Klondike Cookie Crumble Ice Cream for dessert, which was large enough for us to share and was so yummy! We enjoyed the drinks as well... Delicious cocktails and beer on tap. Food is good, beer glass is huuuge lol. Dessert was nice. Not too busy either on Sunday around noon.

Food is amazing, super delish! My family and I have visited this place numerous times because of that. Service is good but sometimes they get under-staffed that people have to wait a super long time (we're talking about half-hour) just to place your order, then another long wait for the food ... to actually come. Atmosphere is good--kids are welcome too if they're OK with loud music. They're given an activity sheet and crayons to keep themselves busy. :) Read more
