Buk Chang Dong Soon Tofu - North York, Ontario

You absolutely should try their soon tofu! It's so good and comes with purple rice. It is such a filling and satisfying meal for less than $20. My go to soon tofu place. Been coming here since it was just $10 and now close to $20 after tax. Combination without shrimp is the way to go!

Right at the heart of busy Yonge and finch! Was craving Korean and stopped at Buk Chang dong soon tofu after reading some reviews. Came here for lunch and it’s not very busy - spacious and lots of seatings. We ordered the seafood beef combination tofu - mild spicy level and it’s enough ... to keep my toes tingly. The soup came boiling hot and with the egg on top it really topped the flavour. The tofu was soft and the flavour was on point. We also ordered the bulgogi soup - this one is ok - I much preferred the tofu soup. Each meal came with stone purple rice and if you love crispy rice from the bottom of the stone bowl this is for you! I added soup to soften it up and it was delicious! Read more

It was very busy had to wait. First time here and the food was excellent especially for a cold windy winter. They use black rice which anyone should try and part of it will be soaked in hot water that will make nooroongji(slightly over cooked thin layer of rice).

Came in on a Thursday night, wasn’t too busy. All soups comes with rice and some side dishes. We got combination and seafood soon tofu. Would recommend getting regular for those are are okay with spic. Portions were pretty good.
