Just went here for brunch, amazing meal for the books. Made reservations and I recommend doing so because it's quite busy in there and not much seating so better to secure a time. Our server was super nice, she gave us popcorn to snack on while we waited for our ... meal. I got the vegan benedict with a side of home fries and creamy garlic mayo. My meat eating boyfriend got the pressed ruben I believe its called. Both were fabulously displayed and tasted amazing. I did feel like salt mightve made the egg and fries better but that's an old habit of mine that's not very healthy. They gave us organic ketchup for the fries and that made them very good. Came here to celebrate my one year vegan anniversary with my friend and the food was absolutely delicious! Tried the coconut crusted french toast, red fife pancakes, tempeh bacon, and the vegan egg! The vegan egg looked so realistic and tasted almost like the real thing.
Doug's Public Kitchen is the place to have breakfast with vegan eggs (see picture). It is amazing, isn't it? The taste is incredible. You will really enjoy the experience, and, if you are not yet vegan, you may consider it after eating there. Thanks Doug and the staff! Katia
Delicious, vegan, big breakfast. First off this place is pretty busy so call first to reserve seats. Plenty of breakfast options and weekly specials. I ordered the Benedict. So delicious. Hollandaise is creamy. Egg yolk is legit and approved by meat eaters. Friendly service. Complimentary charcoal water and popcorn. Free parking ... at the back. Overall this is the best vegan place for breakfast I have ever tried. Shout out to Doug Mcnish for great vegan food. Read more

Today was my 3rd visit here and as always the food, service and atmosphere was amazing! I came for lunch today and it was so beautiful. Definitely worth checking out. Instagram worthy dishes are both tasty and beautiful. Word of caution... Parking is a bit tricky. ... The convenience store owner next door pasted (WITH GLUE!!!) a sign on my car saying I wasn't allowed to park in a spot that had no signage indicating otherwise and was extremely rude when I asked about it.
