Tried ordering 2 bowls of ramen through Skip the Dishes, they completely messed up my order and sent me a beef rice bowl and cheesy pasta instead. With some help from Skip I was able to reorder for free and they sent a notice to the restaurant to rush ... the food due to the mistake, but it still took another hour, the restaurant clearly gave it no priority despite their screw up. I got skip the dishes at this place. #1 visual is good well packed but over priced for a soy sauce based ramen!! The Japanese style beef on rice? Like 3 pieces of beef all rice and sauce with pickled radish just 3 pieces. It doesn taste authentic and taste ... like all pure MSG... never again.. oh.. bubble tea? Ordered delivery. The bubbles (tapioca) was hard, and thr 'spicy miso hiyayakko' was a small piece of tofu, totally not worth the cost. Two stars because cajun wings were okay, and delivered from foodora.

The cartoon character on the cup and on all over the building decor is certainly cute and stands out even from outside the restaurant. Service was friendly and quick but this was late at night. The food was not bad. The popcorn chicken and volcanoes spicy tofu that came with ... the combo was hot and crispy. The hotpot for 2 tasted a little bit bland and portions felt a little small for 2 ppl. The biggest downfall was the drink that had came with the combo. I had the red bean pudding matching which is part of their top 10 drinks. The red beans was pretty hard for a drink topping and require some extra chewing. Nice little spot located on busy Yonge Street. Once inside, it is quiet and cheerful. The cartoon characters put a smile on your face along with the friendly staff. For such a small shop, they sure do have quite a large menu. I recommend the volcano ... tofu, pork teriyaki on rice, and Hokkaido milk tea. I am not done trying everything on the menu. Read more
