Great fresh seafood. As a fisherman myself with lots of fresh seafood, I always order the fish and chips, 2 pieces of salmon, cole slaw, no fries and extra tartar sauce. Salmon has best oils for flash fry. Halibut is most expensive, not nearly as good. Best value is salmon ... by far, spring chinook if possible. The batter at crab shack is excellent. They got an entire side of salmon for us even though it wasn't in the display case. It was SO GOOD. If you're looking for fresh seafood...thisnis the place to go forsure. We wound up cooking the salmon as a BBQed Braided Salmon...wow...SO GOOD. And the service was very friendly.

Awesome, no frills, barebones seafood shack. No recipes, sauces, garnishes. Just freshest, most succulent and delicious seafood that looks and tastes like it was still swimming the same morning. Service is quick and efficient, prices are honest. You will leave full and happy. I will definitely go back.

Grabbed a halibut and chips, and some clam chowder to enjoy at Cates Park. Get there to order at least 15 minutes before closing to order. Sadly the clam chowder wasn’t quite at the level of Boston (if you’ve ever been, you know) and would’ve been great with some warm crusty bread. ... The halibut and fries were great. When we went there was an accident but I was so glad we decided to try it because they got pretty good reviews and didn't disappoint me at all. The staff was nice. The food was delicious, fresh and fast. Have a washroom but not too many parking spot maybe ... because I was there at lunch time so full parking.
