Johnny Rocco’s Italian Grill - Niagara Falls, Ontario

From the states and looking for a good Italian restaurant. Quick google search lead me to this Johnny Rocco’s. Parking was easy to find Atmosphere was amazing. We truly loved eating here. Only nit pickey complaint would be the table was wobbly. Everyone something was cut we had to hold on for ... the ride lol. Food was outstanding. Not a bad bite on any of the plates. For the price I felt that it was good quality. Service was amazing. Our waiter was on top of everything and food came out very fast. Almost perfect timing from appetizers to main course. My friend who lives in Niagara recommended we meet up for dinner at this lovely Italian eatery. My daughter and my friend started with a tequila sunrise. Beautiful drinks. I ordered the potato chips with Parmesan cheese, parsley and lemon garlic aioli which was out of this world. It was ... so good we ordered another one to go. I ordered the PEI mussels in a spicy tomato sauce that comes with 2 slices of foccacia bread and my daughter chose the chicken noodle soup and spaghetti with meatballs. Everything was delicious. For dessert, I ordered 2 cannolis that were also authentic and delicious. My other friends ordered the potato chips, Rocco’s salad, and rice balls in tomato sauce. We had a great server, James, who kept all six of us happy. It was a fabulous place to have dinner. The music wasn’t too loud so we were able to converse. Great atmosphere and brilliant Italian food! My kid said "this is the best pizza ever" he was wrong, because mine was! The drinks we had were excellent also. The Raspberry Gin mix is fantastic. Definitely a favourite restaurant in Niagara now. Totally worth the drive from Clifton Hill.

New ownership review. I had a birthday coupon sent to me so I decided to use it. Upon presentation of the coupon my server informed me it wasn't valid as the ownership had changed . At first I didn't want to stay because I had had issues with this location in the ... past and the only reason I was giving them another shot was the coupon. My server James convinced me to stay and give them another shot. All I can say is wow! The new owners have done an amazing job . The food was delicious and out promptly. My server was very accommodating. It was a great all around experience. I look forward to seeing all the improvements the new owners have planned . Thank you for a lovely birthday lunch. Attended a wedding in their basement event space and it was fantastic. All the Food was delicious, considering this was a Saturday night and they were busy with regular patrons upstairs everything was hot and fresh at each table. The service was fantastic, friendly and quick Highly recommended for dinner or event
