Reviews for Tim Hortons in Niagara Falls, Ontario
Unless you are intimately familiar with Tim Hortons menu, it's impossible to decide what you want in this store's drive through because the freaking menu changes every two freaking seconds, and if that's not bad enough, the cashier keeps interrupting you. I told her to give me a minute to ... decide. TWELVE SECONDS LATER she interrupts. I tell her again give me a damn minute. SECONDS LATER HERE SHE IS AGAIN. So I give up trying to decide on what to get for snack now and dinnerlater, or even which fancy coffee to get and just ask for a large coffee with extra cream. She tries to give me an iced coffee. NO. I fix that, and THEN she doesn't know what "extra cream" means. REALLY?! Screw this. I told her to just never mind, and went down the road TO SOMEWHERE THAT WILL GIVE ME LONGER THAN A HALF A DAMN MINUTE TO DECIDE AND WHOSE MENU DOESN'T FREAKING SWITCH ITEMS EVERY DAMN THREE SECONDS. If you're not from here and don't have the menu memorized, DO NOT GO HERE. And if you just want a minute to decide on something different and HATE when someone rushes the hell out of you, DO NOT GO HERE. One star for customer service. One star for atmosphere (sucky changing menu). One star for food because I NEVER GOT ANY. Update: So, "Tim Horton's Owner", you want me to do work to let you know what went wrong when you already read it here? Nope. I'm 55, and for all my life I'd heard you Canadians were friendly. I've been in your country for less than a week and that's been made abundantly clear that that is a MYTH. Y'all are the most passive aggressive jerks I've ever met. I wanted to stay a few weeks. explore the historical sights, stay at B&Bs, shop in adorable small towns, listen to music at pubs and restaurants. Nope. I won't be back. But I WILL tell ALL My friends so they won't be so blindsided. Read more
This location consistently gives the wrong order I can't believe how many times I will order things like a box of 20 sour cream glazed timbits and receive a box of 20 assorted timbits with no sour cream glazed timbits. Or if you ask for half cream they put triple ... cream in addition to consistently getting orders wrong. I have never seen a location where workers are so confused about what they need to do. Recently I went inside because drive-thru was very slow and we only had half hour for lunch. They had at least six people standing there doing nothing looking confused by drive-thru one person who was supposed to be on cash who was serving drive-thru and one girl madly making all the food. There seems to be lack of management or oversight here. Honestly do better this. Tim Horton's is overall not great. Read more
Come on guys, iv been going here for almost 25 years, and it consistently keeps getting worse and worse. Instead of pumping out garbage quality at the speed of a turtle focus on the quality first then speed second. I ordered a bowl that I have ordered many times at ... different locations not only was it made wrong, the outside of the container was a mess as well. I'm not expecting amazing quality but at the very least make it correctly. Tim's needs to seriously re think their priorities and re training of all employees. Read more
As always the coffee is good and the pastries are delicious, but sometimes the attention would lead to a bitter experience. My wife and I were surprised by the lady at the cash machine when she didn't show any kindness when I said the simple 'hi, how are you', and ... she went more acid when I showed her that I would apply for the Tim Hortons offers available in my mobile phone app. Two coffees and two donuts by 5 loonies, not bad, so I asked for two regular medium size coffees, after the lady's no kind warning that we should ask for the product as screened in the pic, all because I asked if the promotion would cover a French vanilla coffee. My wife doesn't like milk, I know French vanilla has milk, but just because it's a French vanilla. So I asked for no milk in one of those regular coffee. The lady replied, no... You said regulars and that means one milk and one sugar in them, closing the conversation like a grumpy parent talks with a small spoiled child. My wife was unpleasant at that point but just to not argue with her, we accepted. To ask for the donuts we were kind of nervous at that point, so we were so careful to choose the same product as screened in the mobile app, hopeless of having a nice feedback doing any inquiry about the donuts. I paid we received the donuts and the receipt, we stepped back looking for the place to pick the coffees and the lady started attending others. After five minutes we sat down to wait for coffees, and after about ten minutes the lady warned us that there were no more products we ordered... We were confused, if she was trying to invite us to leave the place, why the place was almost empty, any way, I just replied to her, we are waiting for the coffees. She looked at us like scanning the table we were seating, and scanning us from feet to our heads, as if we were hiding the coffees. So she then moved kind of quickly, and saying sorry she started doing the coffees. Well, why should I complain if she said sorry, shouldn't I, probably she wasn't having a good day. Well my wife was paying attention to her while we were waiting for the coffees, just to realize that the lady at the cashier machine was so kind with others but with us. Read more
First time at Tim Hortons in eastern Canada. Family and I wanted to look over the menu to see if there was anything different on the menu. I asked the drive through attendant for 1 second to review the menu board. A few "seconds" later he was ... stated it had been 10 seconds. I then asked him to wait a min then. He was just rude wanted to rush people through the line. I am not asking for 20 mins to decide but 1-2 mins is reasonable. The car in front of us still didn't have their food so what is the point of rushing. Read more
