Breathtaking view. Food portions were much larger than I expected given the "fine dining" tag. Yes, it's $200 plus (we spent closer to 300) for a meal for two here with drinks and tip, but I found it pretty fair by Niagara standards. Andrew, our server was really friendly and ... made the meal extra special even though he'd only been doing the job a few weeks. Lamb and cheese plate were my favourites. My wife found the turkey salad a little salty but I ate it no problem. The cheese plate in particular I thought was great value. If I went in Loblaw or Farmboy and bought that much cheese it would have been way more expensive than what we paid. Best Old Fashioned I've had in a while too, which was unexpected. The wine selection was amazing, but not as amazing as the food. Two of us had three courses, all perfectly portioned and delicious. The staff was friendly and polite, and our waitress had a great pace and never left us waiting for her to get back to us. Walked in to a beautiful view of the Falls and the rest was disappointment. A family with 3 young boys sat behind us and were very unruly. They broke a glass and a dish and were running around. We ordered a specialty martini that was to be ... ice wine, vodka and cranberry. Somehow olive juice was in it and it had to be returned. Four of us ordered the fish and chips and were sick that evening and the next day. (Not a coincidence) For the money, definitely not worth it. Wine selection and view was the best features. My wife and I came to the area to celebrate Valentine's Day and her birthday. We had an amazing meal, service was excellent, intimate environment, wine was fantastic, and I have nothing negative to say about the experience. A little on the pricey side, but worth it. My boyfriend and I went on Thanksgiving for a romantic dinner. The view, the special menu, the service were IMPECCABLE! They have a nice wine list to discover the wines of the region.
