Golden Griddle - Niagara Falls, Ontario

This is the worst restaurant ever! I really hope they get shut down for good. The restaurant was filthy, the servers were unfriendly and it was a total ripoff!!! Price at $16.99 for adults, $9.99 for youth and $6.99 for children. This so called "breakfast buffet" had only about 6 ... choices of food and most of them were disgusting and unedible. We came about 10 am, and there were no more pancakes. One of the customer asked why and they said that they couldn't make more. Really?! it only takes a few minutes to make some. On top of all that, it was more upsetting that we had to pay extra for the grossly watered down coffee. Do not go to any restaurants that are being advertise by the Super 8 hotel. That was the most ridiculous experience of my life! 73$ for 3 people! All there was to eat was scrambled eggs, half cooked bacon, tasteless pancakes and over fried french toast. Coffee was discusting.

Worst place in Niagara Falls, so embarassed tourist will think this is a tipical resturant in Canada. $16.99 drinks not included is just greedy. The food was awful and was overcooked, some of it didnt look like food at all. The staff were nasty talking about customers infront of other ... patrons. They have no knowledge on how to run a resturant, but thats what you get with cheap labor. Sticky tables and dirty floors YUK! Do yourself a favor go to any other place and get a great breakfast for $7.99 all drinks included instead of this dump. I have contacted the owner but he hasnt had the guts to call me back. Garbage and way way over priced, $16 for the buffet and over $4 for a coffee. The food is terrible. We had a 10 % discount staying at the not so super 8. This discount is apparently subject to tax so works out to less than 8%. We were ... in a hurry so sucked it up and paid the ridicules price however there were at least a dozen or more people that came in got the prices and walked out. DO NOT COME HERE there are loads of breakfast restaurants in the neighbourhood that are far better priced and better food. Read more

Went here for breakfast on a long weekend Sunday; we were disappointed to find out that we could not order a la carte, only buffet. The buffet was too expensive, but the food was okay, the service was attentive, and the washrooms were clean (my fiancee wanted me to ... add that). Coffee was not included in the buffet price. We ended up full, but having paid over $15 each. I would expect to pay that much at Cora's. That being said, I willmost likely visit Golden Griddle again the next time I want a buffet breakfast in a relaxed family setting. Read more
