Taco Del Mar - New Westminster, British Columbia

Pleasantly surprised with my lunch at Taco Del Mar. The shrimp and fish tacos were both really good. The beans were great too.

Not sure what happened to this place. Food quality has gone down. Chicken looks like it's been blended. The cheese sauce tastes like 7-11 stuff. So bad. When you get a combo suppose to come with chips dip and a drink. There charging the drink on the side. Seems fishy.

Ordered lunch online with Door Dash. I specifically ask for 1pm delivery. The food arrived at 12am. That really sucks because we now must wait till 1 pm until we can eat it our lunch. The food came in a tray obviously not meant to hold the contents for more ... than an hour. The tray was so soft from the contents and it was degrading as I ate off it. Good quality ingredients. Good flavor. Nice staff. Meat portion could be a tiny bit bigger, but you get a lot of the other ingredients, which is quite filling.

Definitely not as good as it use to be but as long as you remind yourself that it's basically fast food, it's not too bad. Service was a bit slow, most likely due to understaffing. I put an order in online over an hour ahead of time, but when I ... arrived to pick up the order, I had to wait 10 mins since there was a lineup and when I got to the counter, they were still packing my order.
