Village Grec - Montreal, Quebec

I travelled from Kitchener Ontario to have a donair pita. WOW! I've been travelling throughout the country and the donair I had at the Village Grec is the best in the country ( in my own opinion). Congratulations!!!!

Don’t know what’s happening with restaurants these days. Bought 2 lamb chops the owner took it out of the freezer heated it in the microwave and grilled it when asked he said dontt worry it’s fresh I just put it in the freezer earlier cause we dont serve much. We went there before and the food and service was always great. yesterday we had a bad experience there. The staff was awesome like before, kind, welcoming and smiling. The quality of the food was decreased a lot. The salad seemed not fresh. The rice was too oily and the cut of gyro ... wasn't as fine as it should be. But the worst part of our experience was the cleanliness of the washroom. I don't like to say that but the washroom was the dirtiest washroom that I have seen. Horrible! I ordered the gyro plate. The lettuce in the salade was like wastes they found in the garbage (witted) even the core of the iceberg lettuce was in it. The fries was cold. The toasted bread had no butter 😩 and cold/hard like a rock. I grew up ... in park-ex and grew up going to this restaurant. I went back there for the first time in 20 years after moving south and I would NOT recommend anyone to go there. I could complain about flavor and other stuff but I will leave it at this. Read more
