La Poutinerie Quebecoise - Montreal, Quebec

Big poutine is a normal size at other places. Don't get any toppings they are very stingy with it. Fries and cheese are mid, sauce is decent. For a place called la poutinerie you'd expect better tho. Don't regret trying it. Won't come back tho

This place could be so much more. Prices are very high for portions. Hamburger quite small. Smoked meat sandwich no pickle as tradition. Good portion of fries but soggy. Cleanliness can be improved. Really bad parking lot pavement.

It's ok. I think the problem is that the place is depressing. It's got a huge dining hall that is almost empty most of the time despite their takeout counter always being pretty busy. I think a smaller place would probably be better. The other issue is that their namesake dish, ... the poutine, is just okay even if you try one of the many variations. Something to distinguish them from the thousand other restaurants that serve poutine would probably go a long way. Read more

very good poutine lots of cheese and sauce the smoked meat quality is very good. I found the food to be quite tasty.

Prices were okay, and food was alright for the price, it feels a little weird having to go back and ask for more ketchup packets though. Considering 2 packets of ketchup isn't really enough for a whole fry. Aside from that its a decent place, with a good amount of space ... between the tables for dining in and nice staff. Read more
