I took a croissant and a soup and went out to sit on their terrace I stayed up waiting for someone to show up to ask where I should sit then a server came to clean another table and I asked him if I can sit he said yes than ... another server came very aggressively to say I should move immediately that I can't sit here and even though I was almost done she chased me away very arrogantly, furthermore the soup was not even tasty it's the last time I will come to this place too bad they replaced première moisson who were much nicer Read more

One of my favorite cafes or breakfast places. They serve the best croissants in Montreal. My favorite is their almond croissant. Prices are average for a cafe in that range. I've been coming here for about 15 years and it's been pretty consistent up until recently. Now you get 1/3 or even a quarter of the fruit you would normally get with your breakfast plate (1 inch slice of cantaloupe and honeydew, thin slice of orange and a grape sized ... wedge of pineapple. Also waited quite some time to get my food as well, even when it was half empty. The food is good quality (for breakfast), but you can tell they're starting to cut corners. Great coffee that comes with most of meals. Very good tea options as well. Attentive service. Basic brunch options e.g. omelettes, eggs with bacon/ham/sausages, poached eggs, crepes etc. Usually some fruit is added on the plate. Their raspberry jam that comes with toasts is delicious. I like fresh things and ... vegetables so I felt that there could be more of those and less oil used but overall a good North American breakfast/brunch place. Read more
