Dixie Lee Family Restaurant - Moncton, New Brunswick

I've been here three times in the last couple of months. Each time, the food was fresh, tasty, and portions were generous. The staff was always friendly. I'd rather eat here then KFC or Popeye's Chicken. Keep it up 👍

Wow! I can't even believe I need to leave a bad review for my favorite chicken joint! I got there with 2 people ahead of me and waited 30 + minutes. Ordered extra wings cause, hello who doesn't love Dixie Lee wings ? They were slimey and seemingly ... undercooked ,the batter was not typical of dixie lee . This was my first time going there in person. I usually order the chicken and it never disappoints, it’s always good! Pieces are smaller than other chicken places but that might be because it’s organic chicken? I don’t know… the restaurant itself just isn’t satisfying to be in and the ... attendants aren’t rude but they’re not polite if you get what I mean. Have not had Dixie Lee in years. No longer around our area like they used to be. This brought back memories. I couldn't even eat all my 3 Piece dinner. KFC could learn from them. At least from where I'm from, KFC has gone downhill.

Not my favorite place for chicken dinners. Didn't like their batter/coating but the chicken was nicely cooked. The cole slaw was great but the roll wasn't very fresh, the gravy and fries were okay. The lady at the counter wasn't very friendly although I feel that she is over worked, it was ... quite busy when I was there and she was the only cashier working. I think she did very well all considering. I think establishment could use some T.L.C inside and outside. Would I consider going back 🤔 not likely unless I try something different, any suggestions?
