I love their Spadina location, when I found out that they had a Mississauga location I was thrilled (close to home). I knew we had to check it out. I had their BÚN BÒ HUẾ (Spicy Hue Style Beef and Pork Soup with Vermicelli) which is absolutely delicious, and flavourful and ... SODA CHANH MUỐI to drink. My boyfriend had CƠM XÀO XẢ ỚT (Stir Fried Lemongrass and Hot Chili Peppers Curry with Chicken on Rice) along with CÁNH GÀ CHIÊN BƠ (Special Fried Chicken Wings). We absolutely devoured our meal and because we both ordered large, we had enough to takeaway for the next day. The service was awesome, the girl that helped us was so kind and sweet. She kept checking on us to ensure we were enjoying it. Tho I ordered one Soda Chanh Muoi but due to my poor writing skills she thought it was 2 but I didn’t mind taking the second home. I recommend this place to anyone who loves to try new cuisine or just want to have some Vietnamese food, choose this place without a doubt. Read more
We ordered beef PHỞ, BÁNH XÈO CHAY (Vietnamese Pancake), TÀU HỦ CHIÊN (Fried Tofu), red bean smoothie, BÚN ĐẶC BIỆT (Vermicelli and salad bowl), and BÚN XÀO RAO VỚI THỊT (Stir Fried Vermicelli with Mixed Vegetables). The BÁNH XÈO is my absolute favorite. I got the veggie option with Mung beans ... and tofu. It was a single serving but can feed two. They served it with a heap of lettuce. I thought I would not see the actual food. The stir fried vermicelli was too oily for my preference. I should have mentioned less oil and more veggies. The fried tofu is the usual. They served it with peanut sauce but always ask for the spring roll vinegar condiment as sauce. I have not tasted the PHỞ but my FIL said that it tasted "good" but I think it was too small for him since he ate again when we reached home. Red bean smoothie - it is what it is- just make it a drink. They also offer regular and large options for most of the dishes. If you are hungry, better order the large one. The place is homey. I loved the vibe. It looks like you are at home. Family dinners would be a good fit here. The lady in the counter is very accommodating. She will answer any question you ask her. Customer service is a 4.5. Read more
I’ve come here several times before and the food has always been good, but this time when I ordered shrimp fresh rolls as I usually do it was different, they had rolled in fried crispy roll wrappers which added such a cool extra texture, and the sauce was definitely different ... with a bigger kick of lemon grass than what I remembered, fresh rolls are one my favourite items and this change definitely left an amazing impression. 5 stars for food for this dish. I'm not quite sure.. What is Seven Courses of Beef? Used to be a signature dish to this restaurant, well we feel we shouldn't miss to try. Finally, we tried and felt I won't have to visit here again. It's not only pricey but also not a good portion of every dish ... for all. This dish is supposed to be sizeable and good enough to be shared among groups of people if all of us slim. Read more
Always have a great experience at this local gem. Amazing prices for consistently delicious home cooked food. Also had a truly great service experience today from a woman with short hair and glasses. Was offered tea while I waited for takeout and overall saw her provide really great service to ... the whole restaurant. Hope to see more people support this local gem, they deserve it. Read more
