Hey guys, I just discovered the best authentic Hakka Chinese place in the GTA! It’s called Chang and Huang in Mississauga and it’s a true Hakka gem. The food quality and quantity is unmatched. I’m talking about mouth-watering dishes that are bursting with flavor. From their crispy chili chicken to their ... spicy shrimp, everything is just so delicious. And the portions are huge! You definitely won’t leave hungry. Plus, the prices are really reasonable, so you can indulge without breaking the bank. I can’t recommend this place enough. If you’re a fan of Chinese food, you have to check out Chang and Huang. Trust me, your taste buds will thank you. Had a craving for some Thai/Hakka so the family and I went to Chang and Huang. Food was fresh and tasted amazing. The atmosphere is nice. The place is clean and well lit NOT dark NOR dingy. Here is what all we ordered: Chicken corn soup Chicken pakora Spicy Garlic Fries Captain’s Chicken Chilli Chicken Manchurian Chicken Beef ... Fried Rice Chicken Chowmein The portions were generous so had lots of left overs for round 2. We all left with tummies full and big smiles on our faces :). Money very well spent! Tried this place last night and absolutely loved their hakka food! Highly recommend trying their crispy manchurian beef, captain chicken ting, noodles and chicken pakoda! The staff was very welcoming and great service! Must try!

Cashew vegetable dish okay but somewhat bland, had to add chillies to spice it up. Thai tom yum soup fairly tasty. A tad expensive for the portion sizes. Nice atmosphere.

I came here after a friend recommended this place and it was definitely an exceptional restaurant. This isnt your ordinary greasy Hakka place rather the quality of ingredients used here is very good. The chicken was boneless/white meat and all protein, as well as the taste was exceptional. One star missing ... as I thought the Chilli chicken dish could have had a larger quantity, however we were very satisfied with the pad Thai dish that was ordered. The restaurant itself has ample seating and is furnished nicely. The waiter and owner are ready to take your orders and also showcase exceptional customer service, they are really nice. When I went there, there weren't many people at the restaurant however I'm sure I probably went off peak hours. I do look forward to continuing to come back here again in the near future! Read more
