Saravana Bhavan has a name of its own in India and they are present in more than 20 countries across the world. I have been to this restaurant once, back in India and had liked the vegetarian meal. But didn't experience the same here in Mississauga, Canada. Had been here ... for lunch on a Sunday, and it was pretty crowded. Had to wait for a while for the table. The staff were courteous but the service was a bit slow. We ordered special soup and it was very similar to madam. Took special & quick meals and they were average in taste but the quantity was as the name says. Kara masala dosey was okay. Gobi manchurian dry wasn't good. Butter Milk was a disaster. Filter coffee was better comparatively. Finally, beeda was beeda. Not sure if I'm going to visit again. Read more
