Superb service. Waitress was very friendly and the chefs were incredibly quick with the food. We ordered quite a hefty amount of food it didn't taste as fresh as I would've liked it to, but regardless it tasted good. The portions are huge and well worth the price. Great place for oysters on the half shell, especially on Thursdays, when they have the "buck a shuck" deal. Many other seafood dishes, including calamari, baked stuffed squid, shrimp and scallops, lobster ravioli, and coconut shrimp. Not a fan of the fish and chips here but other dishes mentioned were ... very good. Nice selection of wine and beer to complement seafood. Atmosphere is warm and cozy, and there is a separate bar area from the dining room area. Lots of parking. Reservations probably not needed, but good to phone ahead. Service is good. Moderately priced for a night out with a glass of wine. We spent about $45 per person all in. Read more

Great food and a nice atmosphere in the dining room side. Service overall is excellent, fast and friendly. The fact that this place has 'oyster bar' in there name would lead you to expect that they have a wide variety of oysters available but this is not the case. ... There is only one line on their menu in the bottom left hand corner for fresh oysters - that's it. Regardless the food is good but I wouldn't call this place an oyster bar. Read more

Ordered a variety of apps to share amongst five people. Great flavours. Recommend the coconut shrimp, smoked salmon and poke. Oysters were fresh but mussels tasted a bit off in my opinion. Service was good, friendly staff.

Beyond terrible; simply put. We have always been wanting to try the restaurant out and honestly was a huge mistake. First I put in a reservation for a booth to celebrate my anniversary. I get there and there is no mention of anything anniversary. Fine most place would do something ... special but as long as the food is good, who cares. Nope it's not. The food is terrible. Cornbread is literally like dry crumb cake that needs to be thrown out. Appetizers: Gumbo - this is not gumbo and it looks like something out of a Campbell's tin. Chowder - not great but not entirely bad. Mediocre at best. Seafood no where to be found. Coconut shrimp- shrimp are huge but the coconut is just burnt on some of them. Against our better judgments we muster on: Seafood Jambalaya - the curry is poured on top of the rice. That is not how you make it! Tastes better than everything else but it is not what it is labeled as. Almond halibut - one of the worst dishes I have ever tasted. Where to start.. steamed vegetables were raw; sweet potatoes fries were like fat blocks of raw potatoe. Do you know what a fry is? They certainly do not.... And the fish while cooked perfectly was severely over seasoned with lemon to the point where it felt you were drinking lemon juice. Neither of us could stomach it. All of these elements thrown together on plate in a well interesting display. Rustic..umm sure. But at $35 a plate, I expect some thing edible that atleast looks decent. I could even overlook that as long is tasted good... If you are a foodie, stay far away from this place. It pretty much ruined our night. In the end our $100 meal tasted worse than a $20 meal from any fast food restaurant. I expected so much better. Do yourselves a favor: Fire your chef or put something on the menu he actually can make accurately. Then personally taste the food he cooks. Two things that were good, the staff and the themed restaurant. But unfortunately I go to the restaurant to eat not to have a friendly sever and admire the decor no matter how quaint it is. Read more
