Saucy Kytchen - Mississauga, Ontario

A bit sad to see this place closed down, but oh well... The sandwich itself was a bit overpriced and wrapped in an astronomical amount of tinfoil, but sure tasted amazing. One to remember for sure! The owner was funny and kind to us, but had to go out to get some ... fresh buns from the Lusitania bakery not far away and left us waiting for over ten minutes. Glad to see he cared about the buns being fresh, but not worth the wait. Cool sports magazines on the tables by the window, nothing special. Two people that I thought were customers were actually visiting the place and hoping to buy it, that's when my poor heart sunk. Unfortunately the Saucy Kytchen has to say goodbye.... I hope this was a one off. I went for the first time due to the fantastic reviews and the proximity of where I live in the area. It was a beautiful Saturday around noon. The place was dark and I was the only customer. Their interact / credit machine ... was down so I had to run to an ATM. Upon returning ordered 2 veal sandwiches and it honestly tasted like left over. I did wonder how quick she lit the sandwich together as I didn't hear it cook. Like I said I hope it's a one off as the reviews are pretty good. Read more

I had the pleasure of eating the chicken parmesan sandwich. I really appreciated their commitment to making it cheesy, strings of cheese with every bite! It was honestly a delicious sandwich that I keep thinking about. On top of the great food, is the customer service. Genuinely nice ... people and extremely friendly environment. A must do when visiting the Port Credit area. The food at Saucy Kytchen is phenomenal! You must try the veal sandwich, it's the best in town. My kids loved the pizza and rice balls. My first experience with saucy kytchen was over a year ago at a friends baby shower. The food was beyond delicious! Since that time I hadn't stopped thinking about the perfect time to carter food in for an event. This past weekend we celebrated my daughters first birthday and used ... Saucy's to cater our celebration. From the initial ordering of the food, I was impressed with the customer service. The large quantity of food arrived on time and cooked to perfection!
