What a wonderful restaurant! Very cozy, limited space but I kind of love that. They had good menu options. I went for the smoked duck carbonara and it was delicious. This place has amazing food, everything on the menu looked so good it was hard to decide on what to get. Their pastas are delicious and full of flavour. The ambiance makes the meal even more enjoyable. The small space feels homey and cozy, and sitting on the patio was ... the perfect outdoor dining experience. The service was excellent, our server checked on us consistently and had a smile on her face the whole time. The tiramisu deserves its own review as it was one of the best I’ve had in a while. Came here on a Monday early evening for dinner with 2 adults. The place is small, but it had a fairly decent sized patio which we sat in. There was a nice, cool breeze and when it did get too windy, the server lowered the covering to protect the diners ... from the wind and leaves being blown around. We got seated right away. The menu is easy to read. We shared the carbonara pasta and the calabrese pizza. Ordered a sangria and approved spritz as drinks. The food came out within 15 minutes, it was fresh and smelled so good. The pizza was thin crust and had a lot of flavour and toppings. The carbonara pasta was rich and filling, although I'd like to have the pancetta more crisper. They offered chili oil and flakes as toppings, which enhanced the flavours if you like a little spice. Both dishes were good to share and we were full by the end. Server was friendly and checked on us often. Atmosphere was nice and it was quite busy on Monday evening at their patio. I’ve walked passed Papa Giuseppe’s Italian Restaurant in Port Credit, Ontario, Canada many times but hadn’t ventured in. It’s not just the look and how busy it is, it was the smell of home-made sauces coming from the kitchen! You feel the warmth and love emanating from the kitchen ... as you enter to get a table. We were lucky to get the patio without a reservation. We had the Mussels in White Wine Sauce paired with a Prosecco and Hot Vegetable Salad paired with a Super Tuscan (by the glass - fantastic). The mussels were cooked to perfection and I ate each one with a spoon filled with the sauce, really a soup. We asked for the hot oil and topped off the hot vegetable salad with it. On its own it was fabulous and with the hot oil out of this world! We ended up leaving with 2 bottles of the hot oil as it’s one of the best we’ve ever had and they sell it as take-away. From the hostess to the server the service was fantastic and servers cover each others tables it seems and run the food so it felt like someone was available or around taking care of us quite often. Nice cozy family vibes here. The service was good here and our food came out in a timely manner. The bruschetta was really good. It's made on foccia bread which was nice and soft. The bolognese was definitely a hit and can feed 2 people no problem. The Calabrese ... pizza was really good and packs a nice kick. Definitely would come back here! Read more
