Udupi Madras Cafe is a good South Indian restaurant, catering a variety of dishes like Dosey, idli-vadey, bajji, poori, channa-batoora, pav-bhaji and many other South Indian dishes. Filter coffee is good, with a nostalgic feel (when compared to Canadian coffees) and I liked it. Quite a busy place but not ... too much waiting. Free Parking is in the basement. Every item on the unlimited breakfast buffet was really good. Sambaar and chutney were excellent. Fresh hot pooris and plain dosas were served. Other items were idli vada upma and very good sheera/kesari. Aloo palya could have been better as a side dish for poori. ... Service is also good. Polite attentive and not delayed. There were 5 tables with around 25 people at 9.45 AM. Coffee and tea are not included, I wish one beverage was included as they are charging 16$ per head. Read more

The food was nice and fresh. Loved the dosas and the faluda ice cream! The restaurant was busy and the waitress was attentive. The bathroom was a little dirty for my liking but otherwise good.

Would go to the place again for the price and quantity. Who would expect a tummy satisfying mini-tiffin for a staggering 13$? Cheap price for good quality and quantity food. The service was lacking the speed and accuracy. We had to tell stuffs repeatedly and some food missed salt. So we had ... to ask for salt. The atmosphere is not that great.
