Great options for sure for the $38 weekend dinner buffet. Chaat options are good. Indo Chinese is good too. The main course section of biryani and chicken curries was average I would say. We hadn’t been here for a while because we found it not worth the money at our last visit. But we are about second chances. Unfortunately, I would have to rate this place not worth the $40 per person again. The place is clean and well run. Washrooms were clean. Staff ... were friendly and attentive. The food… Buffet was very limited.. the selection for the price is not worth it. The quality of the meat in the meat dishes is very poor, all dark meat and more goat options than chicken. The butter chicken was filled with sauce and no chicken we had to ask them to fill it. The only chicken selections were tandoori chicken, butter chicken and chili chicken… the chili chicken was awful. The naan were great, desert area is great, salad area very limited. vegetarian options were decent. I would much rather go to an Indian restaurant and order platters for the table with better quality food, and spend the same amount but have good food. It is also very expensive for what you get. Have been to Tandoori Flame a couple of times with family and with friends. A very good place to dine and party. Location of this restaurant is great, as Heartland is at the heart of the city, and the shipping hub. Easy access to this place, be it your car ... or public transport. Variety of options across for the buffet, which is the only option. But I felt there were less vegetarian options, when compared with non-vegetarian. It's crowded most of the times, but haven't had to wait for the seat during my visits. Extremely courteous staff members and very good service. I've visited this place numerous times, and each visit has been delightful, especially with their diverse Indian food buffet covering all regions of India, offering excellent vegetarian and non-vegetarian options. Even on Valentine's Day, we were seated promptly, but by the time we finished, the line was out the door. One ... observation I'd like to share is about the seating arrangement. While my family and I didn't have any issues navigating through the crowded tables, I noticed an elderly couple seated in front of us struggling to move around due to the tight space between chairs and tables as the gentleman had a walker. It was disappointing to witness, especially when there were closer, emptier tables available near the buffet. I expected a restaurant of this caliber to have designated seating areas for guests needing closer access. Additionally, I noticed two types of servers: those in black aprons serving generally, and those in brown aprons overseeing operations. When a server in a black apron politely requested the brown apron lady with blonde hair to move the elderly couple to a more accessible area, she responded disrespectfully and declined the request. It's important for senior staff to treat their colleagues with respect, as guests notice how team members are treated. I love dining here, but I hope the management addresses these issues by ensuring polite communication among staff and reserving tables for guests who may have difficulty navigating through cramped spaces with walkers.
