I'm from Montreal and when I go to Toronto, I make it a must to stop by this place! This is one sweet and spiritual Woman restaurant owned, and she's cooking all the food by herself with heaven attention, the meals are just incredibly tasty and fresh! It has to ... be one of the Best and finest Indian food in Ontario! The evening we went to the restaurant she was tired after cooking meals for 400 homeless people during the day! and she was about to close the restaurant, she kindly lets us in! please make sure you call before, this woman is alone and working very hard! Such a delicious meal! Ancila came out and determined what spice we tolerated and what meat/veggies we wanted, and made two delicious meat curries and a roasted eggplant dish. Attentive and fantastic - the beef Curry had the right amount of cardamom without being overwhelming, and the butter chicken was ... creamy and yummy! We will definitely be back. Read more

Phenomenal food and phenomenal service. My partner and I decided to get some Indian food during a storm, when we got here it seemed like they were going to close early due to no foot traffic but the women who greeted us insisted that we sit and she will accommodate ... us. By far one of the best experiences we had at an Indian restaurant, she was polite and she catered to our spice levels and even gave us recommendation that we wouldn’t have chosen normally. We had the Pakora, Butter Chicken and Biryani with a side of garlic naan, all were delicious and full of flavour. When we called to make a reservation, Ancila told us that she was the only one working that night and it would be slow. We were fine with it and showed up at the designated time. When we were seated, Ancila again reminded us that service would be slow. I appreciated ... that she was very honest with us upfront. Our friends who we were with said it was worth the wait. Ancila selected a few dishes for us and they were all absolutely amazing. We had a fish dish, chicken, beef and veggie option, some curried, some dry. All of it was amazing.
