Been coming to Sizzlo'z a few times in the past, but decided to drop a review now. The Portuguese grilled chicken was definitely the way to go, and the quality would vary in every visit. Usually we would come in a big group and share a whole chicken, but in ... this visit I ordered double legs for myself. I decided to keep the chicken mild, as I prefer to dip the chicken with spicier sauces from the bottles conveniently provided on your tables. I found the chicken to be a bit dry and burnt in my latest visit, so I had to drench the legs in more sauces to hide the burnt taste. But the joy of eating peri-peri chicken and fries with the right sauce was the reason I kept on coming back. In past visits I would also order the chicken liver, which came in tender and perfect at soaking in the peri-peri sauce. And if you order soda, it comes with 2 refills, so make sure you take advantage of it. Read more

First time at Sizzlo’s. Server was polite and helped us with what to order. We weren’t too hungry so we ordered the BBQ grilled half chicken to share for ~$18. Order came with a side; we chose grilled corn, and a drink (with refill). Sauce on chicken was great (sweet ... and there was extra spicy sauce on the side), chicken wasn’t dry, corn could have been a little sweeter but was grilled nicely. Grilled Chicken is good if you want to try something different or bored of other peri sauces. As for beef ribs, total flop 👎🏽 because the basting was not marinated on the ribs properly. Really tasty chicken and beef ribs here. The chicken is moist, cooked well and the sauce options are great. Prices are very reasonable and portion sizes are good. Meat is halal. Would recommend for a good family meal. They also do catering.

The food was good. The poutine gravy was delicious but there wasn't enough cheese. Not sure if it was because I ordered delivery but the corn was soggy. It wasn't firm like you would expect from roasted corn. I was also hoping there would be some butter. The chicken was ... also good though could be a bit more juicy.
