The fish and chips are great so on slow days I would absolutely recommend. Good Friday is another story. No point to order ahead as then you're still waiting an hour + for your food. I have been coming here on and off for about 15 years now. It is Friday and I had a hankering for some fish 🐟 & Chips … and I mean really good fish & chips. The fresh kind, not frozen 🥶. The fries are still made from fresh potatoes 🥔. This ... is a local business success story run by the lovely 😊 ladies. Please support our local businesses. The restaurant and the staff are all the same. The food is still fresh, honest and made with dedication. I was feeling nostalgic when I was in the restaurant. They have added to their menu like crab cakes, shrimp & scallops. The fish & chips are still grand slam delicious 😋. The new items like the crab cakes are on point with texture and taste.
