Excellent food quality and service. If you're in a rush, be prepared to wait 10- 15 minutes for high quality fesh cooked food. I come in from St. Catharines more often than not to visit my daughter in Port Credit. Almost every visit I make sure we head to the Souvlaki Hut for dinner. It doesn't matter what staff are working, they are all very pleasant. We normally order two ... small chicken Souvlaki dinners, and they NEVER disappoint. Last night, Nov. 4th, was no exception. It was AMAZING!!!. The potatoes, rice, chicken and pita bread were all hot and the salad was seasoned perfectly. I did a specialty order, requested 6 chicken souvlaki dinners packaged in a way to serve buffet style back home. Everything in it’s on large serve tray. I was so incredibly impressed with how the food was packed, prepared and given to me. I had help to load in ... my van. At home the food stayed warm in my oven for two full hours. And was the perfect temperature in my oven left on warm. The food was AMAZING! The chicken as moist, flavourful and great portions. The potatoes were soft and tangy. Delicious. The rice was cooked well. Almost too much rice. The salad came to me with everything on the side. This allowed people to make their own side, Greek salad without having soggy lettuce. The salad came with the dressing, the feta cheese, and the Kalamata olives on the side. Also included with my meal was pita warmed up. They were cut into quarters and reheated beautifully in my oven. Lastly, they gave us these things called honey sticks, which I think is honestly just leftover pita. they are deep-fried, and then tossed in some sort of honey glaze and boy, were they delicious. Very small portion sizes - still hungry afterwards. Ordered a small chicken souvlaki dinner. For almost $20 container 1/3 empty! Only had a few pieces of chicken with minimal rice and ONE HALF potato. The rice portion didn't even fill my 2 year old and I had to cook additional ... rice over the stove. Small chicken souvlaki salad almost $15 and could fit in a small cereal bowl. After admitting many customers complain of small portion sizes, manager offered us "$5 or $10 off if we return" - not happening. Read more
