This is a sit down restaurant in the busy Terminal 3 departure hall of Toronto YYZ Airport. We went there as we wanted somewhere to sit down for a bite to eat & drink. We ordered one of their popular sandwiches & a salmon bagel. The former was as ... expected, huge & with enormous amount of meat. The latter came a lot more restrained, not quite what I expected. Came here for the knish and despite it being on their website menu and advertised on their wall it was no longer available. Go figure. Menu and prices on website are very much out of date and needs to be updated. Staff are great though and ... fun!! Read more

Food was excellent (especially the beef bacon), it was made with love and even with the airport prices we found it to be reasonable. The server/bartender was fantastic and was very friendly.

I'm not even sure why I'm giving this 2stars. Caplanskys should have mastered the art of the sandwich. Alas...somehow there's justification for airport food to be ridiculous prices and substandard quality. Kind, friendly service made up for the lame excuse of a sandwich which was essentially bread and meat with a ... trace of coleslaw. Ah, a bit of cheese. How was this a Reuben? Read more
