There isn’t much atmosphere because is a take out. However I am impressed with the taste. It is real Chinese food, very flavourful, teste better then higher prices Chinese restaurants, based on what I ordered. I ordered Beef Black Bean Sauce and Garlic Bok Choi. Delicious. I will be trying ... other dishes for sure. The Menu is full of varieties and options. Read more
We’ve been on the search for a local Chinese spot ever since Asian Express closed and this place is definitely NOT it. The chicken balls had no chicken, the huge and ALL batter. It was basically bread ball deep fried. So bad. The minimal chicken that was in the ball ... was rubbery and chewy. The chicken was the same in the Shanghai noodles and the chicken lo mein. I always thought Chinese chicken should be soft because of the baking soda, but this was chewy and rubbery. Not sure why. Could serve it to my 3 year old. The noodles themselves were also not good. The Shanghai noodles were bland, and the lo mein was gooey and too saucy. The only thing sort of edible was the rice but that too was not great. Our meal cost $67 and I had to go pickup. They do not deliver 10 minutes away to M9R. The lady told me to order or door dash but when I inputted what we wanted it came out to over $115. I don’t understand the pricing differences for the same things. I’m really sorry for this review but we wasted our money ordering from here and wouldn’t want anyone else to do the same. Read more
This restaurant is mostly for takeouts but they also have a couple of tables for dine-in guests. So needless to say, the ambience is minimalistic. I ordered the most expensive item on their menu (see attached photo of menu): Cantonese chow mein (stir fried noodle with assorted meat and vegetables). ... The portion is quite filling, though a little too salty for me. A lot of takeout guests came and went during my 30 minute stay. Most of them ordered spring rolls and dumplings. All in all it was a pleasant experience. Read more
It's a good little local restaurant in the No Frills plaza. Lots of parking. Fast in and out. Food was decent, but I agree with others that fried rice dishes should be avoided. Any dish with steamed rice 🍚 is 9 out of 10 Note that this place is closed on Tuesdays for ... some reason 🤔 TorontoLocalGuide review. Read more
I had the best Korean fried chicken I've ever had in my life. The staff were very accommodating too, even though I and my friend arrived not too long before closing hours. We will DEFINITELY come back here.
