Prices are raised again but food quality remains unchanged. Had ordered 7 dum sum dishes with the bill over $70 because they charged each person for tea. However, the tea is not quality as compared to the price you gave. There are more choices in Markham or Scarborough at this ... price level. Service was really sub-standard in general except one short guy. I would rather travel to Markham or Scarborough for a better choice and better service. Read more
*** Update February 2022*** After another round of lockdowns, things are returning to normal. Time to return to dining in again and support our local businesses. The food and service was top shelf as always. *** Feb 11th 2021 *** Back for more Dim Sum :-) And I placed an order for their special Chinese New ... Year set Dinners. Why grocery shop and cook when you can call and pick up. *** January 2021 *** Dim Sum heaven !!! Take out to enjoy at home in the age of COVID. *** December 2020 Update *** I was beyond happy and excited to see that they are open for take out and get this: ALL DAY DIM SUM is Available for Take OUT !!!! I have missed their food and service in general. But I have NOT had any REAL good Dim Sum during the pandemic. Until NOW !!! Woohoo!!! The menu is available on their website and the entire dim sum menu is also on their FaceBook page. I called in my order and I gave my order via the numbers on the Dim Sum menu ( ex: #2 Har Gar and #3 for Siu Mai ). My order was repeated back to me and it was ready for pick up in a short while. The dim sum quality, freshness and taste are all on point. I imagine that the same Dim Sum chef/master is working. Fantastic news. I will be back for more food. These independent restaurants/businesses need our combined support during the pandemic. I refuse to visit any chain establishments like Mucho Burrito, KFC etc....support the local mom and pop / Independent restaurants. ========================================================== My family and I have been frequenting Bliss for several years now. It really is the best Dim Sum restaurant in Mississauga hands down. I find the service to be very good and attentive. So no complaints here. The restaurant is comfortable as they have ample space to place their tables which will allow diners to not feel crammed in like a pack of sardines. This is refreshing to me because I always feel crammed in most Chinese restaurants. Their dinner selections are equally as delicious. My wife is usually picky with her BBQ pork and Roast pork options offered by other restaurants. But they definitely do it spot on over here !!! Treat yourself to their BBQ selections if you can. A++ experience all the way. Read more
Popular Tim Sum restaurant that draws the crowds with its well cooked food and good service. There’s a lower pricing of items if you come for early lunch. Lots of the usual Tim Sum items on the menu. Portions are generous and taste is good. Must try items include the ... squid tentacles, siew mai, har gow, cheong fun and beef tendons. Read more
Bliss Chinese Cuisine definitely puts the bliss in their food. Their food always tastes fresh and leaves you with a craving for more. The interior design is a little boring, opting for a bland brown color scheme and a traditional look. In addition, when it gets busy ... they tend to forget your orders so make sure you keep track of what food you ordered and what food was placed onto your table. Overall, I enjoyed my time here; also the dinner pricing was fairly standard, averaging around $18 per person. Read more
One of the few dim sum places in Mississauga. If you're looking to satisfy the craving for dim sum, it will do. But if you're looking for quality, try somewhere else. Food was alright but nothing spectacular. We ordered the standard menu items like Siu Mai, Har Gao, Squid Tentacles, Beef ... Balls and Rice Noodle Roll. The Har Gao was very lackluster and small. The Egg Tarts were small and did not have a good ratio between flake pastry and egg filling. The Squid Tentacles were one of the better choices with it well seasoned, not as oily and well cooked. The Beef Ball came out kind of more towards medium rare with a pink center. Staff members kept mumbling about how clean we were, probably took away some of their workload. Also, they tried to keep talking to us in English when we were fluent in Chinese as if we got special table treatment in a weird way. Read more
